My friend JD Buhl passed away yesterday. Cancer. Good to have spent some time with him these last few days. About a dozen years ago, we made a CD full of songs we liked. The only rule seemed to be one-take only, let 'em be raw, imperfect, fun. We called ourselves The Berkeley Brothers. "I Got a Home with Jesus" was a JDB original. We had no intention to share any of these songs, but this one seemed timely today. Rest in peace, friend, and grab eternity by the horns.
